Part II : Dinner With MARTIN YAN again!!!!

I have a experience to dine with Martin Yan again @ Starhill yesterday night!!
We had a really good ChaoZhou cuisine at this gold color theme table setting...

Basically ChaoZhou cuisine eat alot of variety of small dishes...like braised goose feet with braised toufu, jellyfish with shredded chicken breast and etc....I have nothing to complain about the food there EXCEPT the fried beencurd. The beancurd had been cut into very small piece and fry it in hot oil for too long. This will affect the texture and color of the beencurd.

Overall for all the food is pertty delicious!!!!YUMMY
Especially the Sharkfins Soup and the fried rice with Abalone. Abalone is braised till so soft and goes every well with the sauce and the fragrance fried rice. The individual Sharkfins soup pot is very very luxurious because it full shark fins and it doesn't thicken with starch.

NICE DINNER NICE DINNER!!!

Yesterday Chef Zam was invited to this Culinary Experience with GE Monogram..
SO, I get the invitation again from Chef Zam thru SMS...
to attend this event of Chef Martin Yan
Event starting with some cutting skill on vegetables...
then go to squid and chicken....
and he did show us how to bone a chicken in 20 second!!!
AMAZING!!! cool video....will be posting it here soon..

Birthday Party of Roslan Shah @ Restaurant Cerana

Hihi...Yesterday I had been invited by Chef Zam again to a birthday party of Roslan shah at Cheras area. The birthday dinner started at 9.00pm and ended about 11.30pm. It was a really fun night with all interesting performance by all the artist and singers. Theme color for this party which is RED and WHITE!!! For myself I really doesn't know anyone from there accept Chef Zam. It's a really good gathering for all the artist, singers, actors, and also all the media friends, because they don't simply have such gathering to meet up or so since everyone is busy. Its nice to meet some of the artist by myself and had a chance to take a photo with them. Let me show you some picture that I took yesterday.

Cooking show @ Avenue K

Last Saturday, I followed Chef Zam to his Cooking show for Malaysia ASEAN Heritage Trail event organize by Chef Wan. I just have to prepare all the ingredient and make the mise-en-place to be ready. Once we reached there, Berjaya Culinary Institute is taking over the job as Chef Zam helper. My job is temporary done and its time to make some picture with my CANON 500D 18-200mm lens.....

Chef Zam is preparing 3 dishes on that day.
1. Bubur Lambuk Pantai Timur
2. Nasi Briayani Sayur
3. Terengganu style Beef Stew

While doing the show, Chef Zam do go around crowd of tourist and foreigners to smell some of the local herbs. At the same time giving them the nutrition content of each ingredient.
The delicious Bubur Lampuk is done!!! Yummy...
it contain dried shrimps, sweet potatoes, onion, ginger and 7 types of leafy vegies!!
The Beef is cooking with the special Terengganu tumis powder..
Nasi Briayani Sayur is done too..
HOI FAN LO......SEK FAN SEK FAN.....

This event is going to be end only at 22nd November. If you're around KLCC and Avenue K at 1.00pm till 5.00pm during 12-22 Nov, can go there got FREE LUNCH!!! They are providing 10 booth with 10 different food from different country for us to sample to understand the food and culture of that country. For the Live cooking show will have atleast 1-3 chefs from Restaurants and Hotels to show us some process of making some local food.

Acapella Night @ Jaya1

By receiving a text from a friend, who is inviting me to attend a Acappella performance at Jaya1 PJLA Theatre. The first question came to my mind is " Is that going to be some oldies !!!???"....Then I quickly reply her by calling to ask what type of songs is going to be perform that night.
And guess what??? ITS 80'S!!!
I decided to ask my sister and some friends for companion...Finally confirmed and bought that tickeks.

SIX2EIGHT,Kuala Lumpur's Popular Rockappella Singing Group is leading by Mr.Brian Mack which is the director for this Acappella group and of course his supportive wife Edna Tan which is a really good dancer who enjoy the stage very much. Today is the big day for SIX2EIGHT. They are celebrating 15 years anniversary today! And they are performing 3 day straight at PJLA.

This consider my first experience to Acappella and it is a good experience!!!
I enjoyed the total of 90minutes show to the fullest with all different kind of arrangement short 'drama'...

Now I shall let some picture to show you what is they had been prepared for 4 month with practice, practice and PRACTICE!!!
